Maybe I didn't explain this right. The Big Bang was the beginning of this universe, not the beginning of existence.

God, who existed before the creation of this particular universe, created it.

Matter is just an expression of God's energy that runs through creation.

How would it be possible for something to come from nothing? That just seems so illogical to me. Creation came from a creator. God's energy of creation runs all through creation, just as paint runs through a painting.
