Following the success of Mimic Baby (sign language for babies) Selena Lohan developed Mimic Mutt - sign language for dogs. It turns out it's easier to communicate with your dog using regular sign language than voice commands. Watch the video to find out more.

  • This is good, except for the sit part, puching down on the dog is not a good way to make him sit. It's better to hold the treatclose to his nose and move it up and trick him into sitting. If you must push him down, use the other hand to raise his chest up at the same time

  • I like the concept. My dog is leanring what Little I know, but I just dont like her forcing the dog into the positions. =/ When I am training my dog he is happy and wagging his tail, this dog looks a little confused and scared. =/ Eitherway good concept.

  • if your dog is actually deaf.. there is obviously no need to say the word in the first place..duh

  • i deaf

  • good, but need not press the dog with their hands to show him a position.

    (see "education friendly").

  • "good" looks more like: do that again and ill back hand ya

  • I am deaf, 23 yrs old. i taught my puppy, all myself, sign language. he already know few commands in sign language like "sit", "come", "no", "play", "potty", "good", i noticed if you train at very young age they understand easier...

  • when u said dingo he looked at u at the end s0 h3 ant df

  • Pushing the dogs hunches, NOT a good idea, it can hurt them, there are much better ways to do it such as patting their bottom.

  • Actually yes, I have a deaf dog and my sister in law is deaf. Any more questions? To me this is not stupid, I use similar techniques to get my deaf dog to do stuff.
