Thank you Sherrod for your sincere and courageous support of our lgbt kids. Throughout the years you have walked the walk and talked the talk. I have met you a number of times at HRC functions and it is clear you are committed to our cause. Your hard work for all Ohioans is very appreciated. You have a future volunteer to your next campaign in 2012.

You said, "So what other old testament beliefs do you follow? Do you believe in slavery, putting people to death for working on the Sabbath, wearing clothing of two different materials, and planting different crops beside each other?"

It just goes to show how ignorant you are. There's nothing old Testament in my statement. Please pull your head out of your ass and breath.

I hate to burst your bubble but.......America was founded on Christian Principles. Go to Iran and practice your ungodly faith. See what happens. Ha! Even they're not Stupid! Here's the thing.....If I believe in god, and he turns out to exist then I've obviously made a good decision; however, if he doesn't exist and I still believe in him, I haven’t lost anything; but if I don’t believe in him and he does exist, then I'm in serious trouble. Good Luck with your Lose, Lose Thinking. Ha Ha!!

Haha there's only one problem there. I don't believe in your bible, therefore I don't believe in Christianity's version of the beginning of the world. I hate to burst your creationist bubble, but Christianity wasn't the first religion and the idea of binding two people together in a ceremony was around long before your religion. Furthermore, I don't have to be christian to get married. It is my right as an American citizen. So as American citizens gay people should be able to get married too.

Really? Marriage between a man and a woman was instituted by God with Adam and Eve. Genesis 2:24 states: "Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh."

In Matthew 19:4-5, Jesus reaffirms this: "He answered, ‘Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one’?" You Got That Yet?

Marriage was around before Christianity. Besides, last time I checked this is a free country. I have the right to choose my own beliefs. If marriage is considered a legal thing then it should be open to everyone. Your children aren't "affected" by it. It's a part of this world! There have been scientific studies done to prove that it's a genetic thing, but like I said. Why would it matter anyways? It is their right to love and lay with whom they choose.

Really? Please tell me you didn't just say the bullshit you just said. I judge people on their behavior. It is my Damn BUSINESS. My children are affected by this non-sense. It's WRONG Period. No one is born GAY. It is their RIGHT to Choose. It's is SIN and it is WRONG. Marriage is a matter between a MAN and a WOMAN and NOTHING Will EVER Change ThAT!! Stop The Madness and WICKEDNESS!!

Are you truly that ignorant? Being gay isn't a disease nor is it a choice and honestly what would matter if it was? Who are you to judge people based on their sexuality. As long as they aren't hurting anyone or themselves it's none of your damn business. Being gay isn't something to be ashamed of! And as for the "special rights" argument, that has to be the dumbest thing I have heard. They want the right to marry their partner, the same as you. How is that a special right?

About to conclude an internship in Sen. Brown's Cleveland office. Every day in that office I saw people working hard for people who had fallen between the cracks of bureaucracy. It was an honor to work for this man and it'll be honor to work for his re-election. SB 2012 and ever onward!
