My wife and I recently adopted two kittens, each roughly three months old. Moxie is the gray kitten, and Philo is her brother. The two enjoy wrestling with each other, but despite their proclivity to play fight, they really enjoy each others company.
Here, we caught the two hanging out on their little kitty tower, clinging to each other and doing a little mutual grooming.
11/9/09 update: Sadly, my wife and I were forced to put Philo to sleep this morning. We learned a week ago that he had a relatively rare cat disease called feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) which is both incurable and fatal. He was just over six months old.
Luckily, the vet tells us that it is highly unlikely that Moxie will catch the disease.
Philo was a wonderful, playful, energetic kitten, and even though he was not with us long, my wife and I loved him as though we had known him for years.
He is greatly missed, and we will always remember him.
