Arcade Hunters Episode 8 Weirs Beach P.1

Episode 8 of Arcade Hunters is finally here on Youtube! It's a huge three part episode of the arcades of the Weirs Beach Pier! As was said in the video, this footage was shot in the summer of 2008, but many of the games you'll see in all three videos are still there so if you plan on going up this summer you will see all of the games there.

The first arcade we visit is simply called "Penny Arcade" The Penny Arcade has a nice selection of newer and classic games, redemption games and pinball. Some games to notice are the full motion Turbo Outrun and a couple of old style shooting gallery games.

Sorry this took so long to get here. 2600 is a full time teacher and he suffered not one but two hard drive failures so it took us a while to get the new episodes out. Part two will be up very soon with a look at the next arcade "The Half Moon"

@mrgutchman That's 2600, not somebody mysterious. I said the old website in the beginning, now that we're not doing it anymore we over dubbed it with the new address. It's also on the second Death Race video review.

@PearlJammer07 We're on the east cost. And we don't really have the money to do extended travel trips. I'd love to hit Arcade UFO in Austin if I had a way out there.

Just wanted to update you on the pinball status for this arcade, all pinball machines are getting cleaned and repaired during the winter this year. Come in 2012, you will find quite a few changes. Also, the antique shooting games have been fixed to work right and the classic games are being cleaned on a regular basis. If you find anyting not up to standard, let an attendant know... we have an on going "Honey do list" for our game guy.

it's good to see there are some arcades...(with actual arcade games) left in the world...reminds me of my childhood in the early 80's arcades at the mall...(minus the dark, smoky atmosphere and the worker at the back who gave you change for a dollar...good video.
