@naynayluvsu1 I hate to break it to you, but "Emo" is a genre of music, not a subculture. You can't "be" Emo. lol

I'm not making fun of you, I'm just helping you learn the difference.

Emo was a more expressive form of Punk/Hardcore when it came out. The lyrics were more expressive and poetic and the music was less agressive than the original Hardcore, like Minor Threat or Black Flag.

"Emo" really no longer exists today. It's a dead genre now, replaced by Post-Hardcore and Metalcore. :P
