@NathanZackery Thanks for the reply NathanZ. And yes, I know, all too sadly, that the damnable sanctions caused the deaths of so many Iraqi children. And the first Gulf War caused a lot of death in Iraq also. And to think, G.W.Bush calls this invasion, the "Freedom Agenda." Nathan, with freedom like that, they're better off living under a dictatorship.

@Loejyrrab lol that's okay. I don't know what I was thinking back then writing 100k. Watching this again, I noticed that Bush completely ignores sanctions when talking about 'before we arrived.' In fact they were already there enforcing a policy which itself caused the deaths of close to a million people; mostly children aged 0-5.

@NathanZackery Nathan, sorry to bother you after 2 yrs, but I want to update you. The Johns Hopkins School of Pub.Health, experts in determining death tolls from war, now say that 1.5 mil.Iraqis died as a direct result of our invasion. The resentment you correctly mention will last centuries.

When is this video from? Why is he wearing a blue tie, and why is he now using the word "hope"?

We are still in Iraq because those in charge are getting FILTHY RICH from staying there...war profiteers. They are transferring the wealth of our nation into the hands of a very few and you are paying for it.

Bush seems to imagine that attacking a nation which hates you and killing over 100k of their citizens will somehow 'build hope.' I can't see how this action will do anything but cause more resentment.
