Attivisti aggrediti da un peschereccio

Sono stati strattonati e respinti con gli idratanti. Una di loro è stata presa selvaggiamente a pugni sul viso. È successo ieri mattina, quando i nostri attivisti hanno cercato di effettuare un'ispezione pacifica del peschereccio spagnolo 'Cabo Tinoso Dos' nel porto di La Valletta a Malta.

You can't just enter a ship without the permission of the captain, you people have no rights to do something like that. It's the same thing as if I would kick someone's door in, because I want to 'inspect' the house with no reason. You just can't do something like that and I'm not suprised the fishermen would react like this. Also deleting 'offensive' comments, which aren't really that offensive, is pretty sad in my opinion. I don't think you guys are going to improve your reputation like this.

Our activists are well aware of the dangers they're facing. They expose themselves because they believe it's worth the while to speak out against illegalities that otherwise would not come up.

This attack draw the attention of the illegal tuna fishing in the world. In spite of the attack, the activist now is doing well.

We strongly believe that what has to been criticized is the violent behavior of the fishermen, they have no excuses at all for what they did.
