Crosby Herald: John Powers rocks Crosby Village Music Fest

FORMER Cast frontman John Power wowed fans with a gig at Crosby Music Festival.

Crowds watched the singer play a set of his new songs on Sunday at the main stage in Crosby Village.

Another headlining act, The Christians, also took to the main stage amid scores of screaming fans on Monday.

The double-headliner illustrated the growing popularity of the festival, in which pubs across Crosby showcased a host of original and cover bands.

I'm sorry to be a pillock saying this but all I can think is that it's a damn shame that someone who had a key role in creating the best debut album of all time is doing stuff as small as this. Him and Mavers are possibly the most underrated rock stars ever.

crosby by far the smartest part of liverpool, i didn't know that day fest was on though, i would of gone otherwise!!
