Yeah, happened to me too, been there for a lady for many years, always friends, but the cycle always seemed the same. she'd meet someone and so I would disappear. She would break up with him and call me back. I couldn't say NO! It has happened again, but now the time has run out. She wants to be friends...but I have GOT to GO!!! Tears my heart out...no wait...that happened long ago!

@Dudeatheist Ya, me too.. Love brings happiness beyond words, then the pain comes after breaking up. I still think about her everyday,it's been 7 months now. She's usually my last thought when I fall asleep and the first thought when I wake up. BTW, I'm 49 years old,not a youngster or a stranger to love. It can be so painful...at any age
