Ring and pinion ratio, aka final drive, either way the differential gearset, is THE key factor concerning acceleration.

wow... just a cam. i seriously wanna do that now that i got my f22 out. i might just replace my h22 with the original engine! what grind/company?

what does the h22 trans do make it faster/ better gear ratio?how much of a difference does it make if u have it

@blackghostlikerice92 h22 tranny has lower final drive 4.26 compared to 4.06 for h22 and gear 2nd through 5th are shorter the lower and tighter together the gears the more tq and tighter rpm range you can run.

what do u think a cb7 with same mods but has a f22a6 motor. would do on the strip? would it be quicker?

@blackghostlikerice92 the difference between the f22a1 and f22a6 are the intake manifolds and the exhuast manifold with very mild alteration in computer I have changed all of those perameters so there would be no difference except the over all condition of the mechanics of the motor like bearings and piston rings.
