His Kannada is good. the problem is that the other person is talking in English too.... when you are in conversation that is what happens, you tend to reply in the same language. Dravid was more comfortable in Kannada than the other guy.You cannot expect more.. when you interview in English.

Sir MV's fore fathers have came to Karnataka very long back for lively hood & settled. But Sir MV always talked Kannada only. And was instrumental in setting up of Kannada Saahitya Parishath in Bengaluru.
