Turnout was enormous. First estimate: 8,000. Second estimate: 10,000.

  • I was at the tea party. I have a bachelors degree. I listen to mainstream media and talk radio. I listen to both sides and can think for myself. NMway is a typical liberal; for lack of substantitive proof or evidence to support their beliefs, liberals descend into calling people names and insulting them. It's one thing to disagree, it's another to vilify people if they don't follow lock step which is where this country is going. And you know which countries lock step...

  • Nice job, liberal. Just like your lib friends - when you don't agree with someone, just call them racist or radical. Never actually confront the issue. You should thank those people. The rights they stood up for are the ones you are losing, too.

  • Have to agree with poeoates and rovibebate the issue not the person.

Those who attack a person rather than his views are admitting defeat morally,

because their arguments don't stand up to scrutiny.

  • Obama will sign a treaty in Dec in Copenhagen to tax u on carbon and create a 1 world government to oversee it. The Bill of Rights will come second to this Treaty according to US law. U dont hear about it cause they dont want u to know. They want to limit what u do by taxing carbon. Carbon is as fundamental as oxygen. Trees breath it like we breath oxygen. The treaty will supersede the constitution. Heres the link to the video that explains it better: /watch?v=O8BMQ1c2Jbw

  • It's TEA party guys! For Taxed Enough Already. Spread the word!

  • Wow. Great turnout in the Twin Cities.

Was Al Franken there? Yes, that's a joke.

  • It was fun, wasn't it?! I had a great time!

No riots, no fires, no fights, no vandalism...

  • They did what they felt they had to do, dont insult them for having guts to stand up for something. And dont listen to the mass media because they feed you what they want you to see. Because it sounds like your just echoing what the mass media is saying about these protest. You say you understand America but you dont even know why these people are protesting...

  • So these people are idiots? They seemed pretty normal to me, no hicks with missing teeth or six fingers that I saw. But kidding aside, they were pretty emotional about their beliefs and they did the only thing they could when their government didnt want to listen or even acknowledge them.
