but on serious notes, didn't johnny lee do something like this, he got reflective tape and stuck them on his finger tips to detect his fingers reflection. wouldn't that be more similar you yours? How does your differ? just wanting to know, was distractions in your video, not being mean to your child, boys will be boys :)

Correct. The difference between mine and his he had to build an array of IR LEDs with a hole in the middle for the WIImote to fit into. The reflective tape bounced the IR light back to the WIImote and became the control point. To turn it off he would have to remove the reflective tape from view by bending his finger down. Kind of like when you were a kid playing "Where is thumb kin? Where is thumb kin? Here he is. Here he is. How are you today sir? Very fine and thank you! Run away, run away."

(Man I hope you know what im talking about) My way does not require an array or reflective tape because the IR Pen is the light source, and if you want to turn it off just release the momentary switch.
