Respectful stage setup - Considerate stage set ups & tear downs tips. An LW Music Business Consultant, Guest Speaker & Author Music Industry Blog Video.
Be respectful and be considerate of the next band or other bands that are following your at any venue. A true sign of those that call themselves professional musicians are those that are aware of everything and everyone around them at the gig.
When it comes to a respectful stage setup, start to have certain things put together, set up or ready side stage. When it comes to getting off the stage after the set, talk to people after you have removed your gear. Show the consideration you would like to have shown to you. One of the biggest things I discuss with live bands and live shows as a music consultant is to be that respectful, considerate and aware of the stage, the other bands, the schedule and the sound crew. Those that show that awareness and respect will get a lot farther.
The respectful stage set up as well as the respectful aspects you show when it comes to other elements of the music business, will in turn, offer you that many more opportunities to play that much more.
