Iverson didnt ruin the pistons. The pistons still lose without Iverson. Iverson was playing with heart every game. Michael Curry doesnt know how to coach. He puts Rodney Stuckey over Iverson. Joe Dumar was only freeing up cap space. If Iverson can blend in with Carmelo he can play with HAmilton, Rasheed and Tayshaun. Just bad coaching. Check Iversons stats, he tried to be a team player but wallace & hamilton playing like they dont want it. Iverson can still play on a NBA STAR level.

@chabowker see the thing is that a.i. and billups play 2 different positions so of course teams are gonna change. I wish a.i. could have stayed and billups woulda came to the nuggets & nene & birdman stepped up after a.i. left. All the nuggets needed was defense & and a true pg. I'm not saying that melo woulda stayed if a.i. was there. Melo wants out bc things ain't workin. All I was sayin that trade wasn't worth it in the long run.

@Younggunzjr now and that has nothing to do with Iverson. I agree that Iverson still has talent and should still be in the league but the Nuggets are better with Billups. Michael Curry did Iverson wrong as hell. He's maybe the worst coach in NBA history.

If George Karl is there, they give the Lakers a run for their money. And you're saying if Iverson was still there, Melo would want to stay? WTF?? The only way Melo would want to stay is if the Nuggets did anything in the playoffs last year, whether it was Iverson or Billups at the point. He's pressured by the Big 3's that are all over the NBA

@chabowker yea you should be banned. All I'm saying the trade wasn't good in the long term. Where are there nuggets now? Carmelo is leaving, and you still gonna make up some excuse and whoever the nuggets get frm that trade, they better get somebody that plays defense. The nuggets might make the playofs but they are not gonna do anything. And the nuggets would have still would have lost, it was a 4-1 series.

@Younggunzjr They made it to the WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS and lost to the EVENTUAL CHAMPIONS the Los Angeles Lakers, respectively. And losing in the 1st round of the playoffs the next year was a result of not having George Karl. If you are seriously arguing that the Nuggets were better with Iverson, you have screws loose in your head and should be banned forever from talking, watching or even thinking about basketball.

@caironewyork uggh dont talk. What happened when the nuggets got billups, they lost to the lakers AGAIN and lost in the 1st round to the utah Jazz AGAIN. So was the trade really worth it? HELL NO. A.I still got it.

@Younggunzjr how come when nuggets traded iverson, the nuggets started winning with billups? and detroit started loosing? nuggets made it to the western conference finals after billups took the pg role. Iverson is good 1 on 1 player, but he is not a good team player anymore. He hasnt been for 5 years.
