Hi , Do you actually need to fasten this to the wall your installing it on? it didnt look like it. Also can you use this system on kitchen cabinets where you might have heavier uneven loads on the countertops? and in a kitchen cabinet application do you have to fasten the cabinets to the wall also? or can you just use your system? Last 2 questions. How much weight can this system hold? And Can you buy it at home depot?

Yes you do. Once your base cabinets are laser leaver you will screw them into the studs like any other install. HOWEVER... Keep in mind that your walls are "rarely" plumb so you must fill any gaps with shims before you screw through it. Otherwise the cabinet will be pulled back to the wall. Again... just like any other install.

Also: Your comment on the floating floor is great. That's exactly how we suggest folks install. Simply slide the floating floor under the cabinets (about 1" or so) and it looks seamless! (nice foresight)!

Hello;
Good question. The contract points have been engineered to give maximum stability in an environment that tends to move a bit (expansion and contraction). Although each leveler can hold 350lbs, in reality each leg will (on average) only be supporting about 25 - 50lbs and the landing pads are awesome. We have installed the system on every conceivable floor without ever having a problem. However, Like anything heavy... I wouldn't place them on a thick/cushy linoleum floor.
