  • @Monkies57 The Wire humanises the characters, which is why most people can't help but take a liking to the characters. It shows them as real people, instead of demonising caricatures. IMO this is why the show was so popular. It goes as close to reality as a TV show can get. It treats the subject matter and the characters with respect, allowing the audience to be drawn deeper into the story than a cops/robbers, good/bad plot. It's proper story telling.

  • whats the instrumental of the viddy?

  • It was hard to see Avon and Stringer (mostly Stringer) turn on each other.

  • does anyone know where i can watch the wire from start to finsh.. free.. startting from season one

  • @LivingForce yeah vol 2 and 3 are really underrated i could put them in and let the whole CD play. i liked hard knock life and can i get a, but i loved if i should die, jigga what and some of the songs i dont even kno the name of. vol 3 had the best intro and outro, had underrated songs with juvenile, the one with mariah carey signing the hook is really good then add in the commercial songs

  • @Monkies57 To be fair to Marlo that unarmed girl was going to set him up to be shot.

  • This is one of the best rap song ever written. This and:

    Niggas Bleed.

    Aquemini

    Me and My Girlfriend

    killa hills 10304

No The Wire shows the hypocrisy of the a bunch of piece of shit pigs who obey the arbitrary chain of command paradigm which is the reason for the pointless violence that ruins cities. If the government and police departments import the drugs and get away with it, but when black people do it they are a scourge and a plague on our "fair cities". Fuck cities. I don't think the Stringer/Barksdales are to blame since they're emulating successful Italians, Jews, other assorted parasites

  • @Monkies57 What about clay davis and the people up top? They were all innocent huh? If you going to mention the gangster mention the gangsters from the "law" side too
