@SteroidsMakeMeStrong I totally agree. But that's part of what makes Sakuraba special. He's our David who slayed all those Goliaths... He's a hero to the sport, partly because of that. Would I like to see him immortalized as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world? Yes. Because he was (really wanted to say "is"). But he did so much more for MMA than that. His part helped MMA become it's own sport which we have all come to cherish as it is today. We'll never forget you Sakuraba!

I fucking hated how Pride made him fight all of these monsters who outweighed him by 40 lbs. Pride was run by a bunch of scumbags who didn't give a shit about their fighters.
