@hillbillyshaman it depends on what you want to do. I would say go for the quad, because you could use the extra stuff in the future.

@thewii552 What about looking a x-y type stuff, phase, or triggering on one channel? Is that at all needed?

@hillbillyshaman If you are looking at audio level stuff, this should be fine. If you want to look at signals over about 100 kHz or multiple channels, go for the quad. Alternatively, go for something like the Rigol DS1052E.

What limitations have you run into with this device?
I'm trying to decide between this or the quad and I'm also concerned that it could be too limited. Although I only need it to look at wave forms from my synthesizer, i.e. cv shapes, etc.

When you mention the stand, there is a box at the bottom that says "click here if you don't have a stand". It doesn't nothing when you click there except for pause the video.
How can I get a stand?

Damn kid take off that noisy ass jacket! Fuck. I can't even finish watching this because of all the rustling and swishing of your god damn jacket. Anyway you have pissed me off. I am now going to watch a real video with actual info in it.
