Peerce and Warren sing the 'In un coupe?...O Mimi tu piu non torni' duet from Act 4 of La Boheme.

Recorded on 27 December 1946.

With the Victor Orchestra, conducted by Jean Paul Morel.

One of Peerce's greatest roles, in my opinion, and though Warren was better known as a Verdi singer he shows here that he was no less spectacular singing Puccini's roles.

Hope you enjoy.

  • Been meaning to post this for quite a while. My favorite recording of this duet; thanks.

  • Magnificent...a great performance by both, and I'm pleased with all the recent attention I've seen Peerce getting! Bravo!

  • A wonderful performance. Peerce and Merrill sang the duet on the Tonight Show many years later and that too was excellent.

  • i love this. Not a lot of people think of Warren as a Puccini singer, but I would argue he was incredible in it. His Tosca with Tucker and Tebaldi is just incredible. He ate up this stuff for lunch. Just an incredible talent.
