@vivrantflo Triple H kicked Orton out of Evolution then beat him at Unforgiven to win the title. The World Heavyweight Championship was vacated towards the end of 2004 and Triple H won the title at New Year's Revolution in the Elimination Chamber in January 2005 which brings us to this match between Orton and Triple H

well that's almost completely true. there was a triple threat match the night after survivor series 2004 between triple h, edge and benoit. orton was GM of the night, since his team won the elimination tag team match at SS.

edge was in benoit's crossface while he was rolleing over to pin chris. so the referee counted 3 the moment when edge tapped out. that's why mr mcmahon vacated the title and bischoff set up the title match for NYR in the elimination chamber, which triple h won.
