Did you add the background music yourself? I've always seen the background music disabled when playing 3 or 4 player. Ope, question answered, Toad's Turnpike music for Mario Raceway ;)

This is still a fantastic game twelve years later. I actually participated in a King of Kart Mario Kart 64 tournament. I took 2nd of 64 players. It was loads of fun, if I can ever get an online emulator to work correctly (Project64k?) we're playin'.

Oh man, it bring back so many memories from when I was very young. Yoshi and Donkey Kong's voices in the new Mario Karts really suck compare to these old voice/sound effects.

On royal raceway you boost then jump not just boost and you probably already know this but its the dark stripe on the wall.

How do you place 1st as peach?

The background music is wrong in Mario Raceway from Mario Kart 64 because you used the Toad's Turnpike music, and the background music is wrong in Royal Raceway because you used the Rainbow Road music.
