What change are you referring to? From where I'm standing, Christianity, religion in general, has never been on the side of progress.

Christianity has never been and will never be conservative. Conservative is defined as resistant to change. Christianity seeks to change the world. Conservative Christianity seems to be a bit of an oxymoron.

50 years ago, 98% of white Americans disapproved of interracial marriage.
Only in 1967 were the last laws against interracial marriage repealed. Religious establishments fought long and hard to to keep interracial marriages illegal.
They used the same logic then as they do now.
Christians, I am so sorry your faith has come to this, I'm sorry you are being herded by your leaders to support such injustice and I pray that someday you will come to recognize the ways you are being manipulated.
