  • As for under-steer lets be realistic in our expectations of a vehicle with a high center of gravity (and under normal conditions a 2wd). May I suggest that in future you research aspects such as suspension travel before commenting on them and more so perhaps leave car reviews to those who have some skill in the area

    Regards

    James Taylor

  • Hi James

I think you may have missed the point a tad whilst jumping to your incorrect conclusions. If you don't like mine, film your own.

    Kind regards

    Nick Hine

  • Thanks for the personal abuse, you must be rock hard posting comments like that from behind your keyboard!

As it happens I hate diesels with a passion, but perhaps the last 10 years have passed you by, they've suddenly got quite good, and yes, the CDTI suits the car much better.

I'm not a car tester, just a bloke with a camera so i'll take that as a compliment.

Finally, learn some grammar and some manners and make one yourself if you can stand the comments.

    Kind regards

    Nick Hine

I know this is from long ago, but let me say your talking rubbish about the crv I have owned high end BMWs and the handling/cornering from any 02 -on petrol is as good as any 02 -on BMWs and lets just say BMWs don't do snow and ice!

  • Hi. Thanks for the review.

  • i love cr-vs

  • you keep ending up on the other side of the road? you can't fucking drive...

  • Hi Nick

If you feel you can stand by and defend your conclusions, lets have a bit of rebuttal aye, please explain to everyone here why my conclusions are incorrect and further more why I have missed the point.

Facts please if you dont mind

    Cheers

    James Taylor

  • of skill the poster has in reviewing cars. The Crv does not in fact have electronically assisted power steering, the system is hydraulic from its belt mounted pump through to the valve housings, his comments regarding an artificial feel is one that anyone who believes that they are reviewing an electronically assisted system would tack on.

  • I feel it is worth highlighting several factors that have been overlooked in this review. Although the reviewer mentions a 2.0 petol and diesel option he neglects to mention the 2.4 petrol option. The lack of power of the 2.0 size option was something that Honda recognized and addressed as they moved from the 1st generation to the 2nd. Also the comments regarding the steering and handling of the Crv seem to not only erroneous but I feel more than that give an indication of the level

  • I do agree with some of your points but I would stick to my LR3 (land rover discovery 3 for europe) any day over a CR-V
