Just testing my two new Hoya 37mm ND filters: ND 4 & ND 8 on my HVR HD1000E.^^

Edit: Apparently it makes your pans quicker to. :)

    Yes, that's the idea with NDs. Just like with sunglasses you stop some of the light to enter the cameralense, so that you don't have to lower the cameras exposure to the point that it's almost all dark, and no light enters.

    In this test i just wanted to see exactly how effective each filter was.^^
