Do you know who she reminds me of? She always speaks of Oscar Peterson and Errol Garner, but I think her chops are more and more like Art Tatum for a lot of reasons. Tatum would show up at a club at 9:00PM and leave at 4 or 5:00 AM, drinking prodigious quantities of beer. He sat down in a studio one time, and in the span of 2 days recorded enough music for 8 albums, with most one take only. He loved piano, obviously. He did probably stop for pee breaks, because he did die of Scirrosis.
