The first song from Megadeth's thirteenth studio album "Th1rt3en", released on November 1st and by the way the first track featuring David Ellefson on the bass again after Megadeth disbanded in 2002. Actually this song was recorded back in 2010 for the video game "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock", but after a Grammy nomination and loads of positive feedbacks the band decided to put the song on a regular studio album: "Th1rt3en". With its aggressive lyrics, progressive riffs and loads of shredding it seems to continue the musical development of the band just like the previous album "Endgame", meaning the return to an aggressive and fast-paced style of Thrash Metal after the era of "Risk" and "The World Needs a Hero". Enjoy it and support Megadeth by buying this amazing album! \m/

LYRICS:

SUDDEN DEATH

His wicked highness born from disaster
To dominate and to kill
[Solo - Mustaine]
A glistening murder machine
False majesty standing perfectly still
[Solo - Mustaine]
A blitzkrieg raining down evil
On a mountain of black ice
Like a good old fashioned beating within
Inches of your life

While alone and left abandoned
With the sentence you've been handed
All your angels will ignore you
As your life flashes before you
Even still you keep on fighting
Through the thunder and the lightning
And now heaven sends its love
[Solo - Broderick]
Your sudden death from above

Once frozen like a prisoner depraved
Perched high atop the lithosphere
[Solo - Mustaine]
Set free from beneath the depths of hell
Bequeathing anything but despair
[Solo - Mustaine]
The beast is genetically programmed
Time to destroy, time to go berserk
To see the end of all wars
To see the end of the earth
[Solo - Broderick]

Stopping at nothing, punch drunk
From the blood that he's tasted
Tearing your soul apart
Not one bit of your pain will be wasted
Now death descends upon you
Like a bloody white dove
Bringing your retribution
Your sudden death from above

[Solo - Broderick]
[Solo - Mustaine]
[Solo - Broderick]

While alone and left abandoned
With the sentence you've been handed
All your angels will ignore you
As your life flashes before you
Even still you keep on fighting
Through the thunder and the lightning
And now heaven sends its love
[Solo - Mustaine]
Your sudden death from above

  • sudden deth

  • @MegadethGuitarplayer Yeah, but I first got them into Metallica... Mom seems cool with it, lol.

  • @RUSERIOSProductions Damn man, that's fucking awesome! Wish I had siblings like you, but my sister's listening to that pop stuff all day and doesn't even give me a chance to show her real music ;) Guess you're the one who brought them into Megadeth?

  • @DamienFknHerbert Agree with that. Personally, I can't stand hip hop and don't know how this stuff can be that popular, but of course I respect that they're people who love it as much as I love Metal.

  • @MegadethGuitarplayer There's nothing wrong with Hip-hop dude, it's all personal taste.

  • @MegadethGuitarplayer My little sister who is 6, and my little brother who is 4 love Metallica and Megadeth! \m/

  • @CurzedGamer Not at all, its the best thing to have happened.

  • @CurzedGamer I don't think so man, could they really have been any bigger with Dave?It turned out perfect for them. And best of all we got Megadeth,so from a selfish perspective I'm glad they booted him.As a kid Peace Sells influenced me so much it changed me I think.I still love that album.I can still listen to Master Of Puppets too.Us fans are damn lucky they booted him,we got two for the price of one.I saw Mega last night, they are so good live, their guitar playing is flawless.

  • It Annoys me how many hours I sat at That, but I have to sit here next :D
