Piaggion NRG Tuning DAY 8 - Athena CDI, Ignition change

I change my stock ignition unit to the Athena Unlimited CDI unit & coil £60. This allow the scooter to work to its true potential as the revs are not restricted.

Hi i put the same CDI unit on my mc3 LC 2002 . It has a sport exhaust & 4grm rollers

but i cant get the revs you get. Do i have to up the cc`s to 70cc. Thanks

@mikechip568 no not really, as I understand it, all the CDI does really is that its a program that allows u to use the engines true potential so wether its a 50cc or 70cc it dont matter.

Is it realy worth to buy, with malossi sport 70cc kit?

@mikechip568 when u fit a high end cdi unit a bigger cylinder is required for the best proformance. but fitting it to a 50cc will not give the very high revs that a 70cc is capable of.
