Activision's David Crane gives a demo of Ghostbusters the video game for the Commodore 64 during the GAMES episode of the Computer Chronicles which aired on January 21, 1985.

  • @azmanntoz that's because digitized speech like that back then *was* amazing. Ghostbusters and Impossible Mission were some of the only games that could do that. It was a serious amoutn of assembly code to do digitized speech. It was either 4bit or 8bit speech, I don't recall.

    We take digitized audio for granted now, but that was something rare and wonderful back then.
