Brook has never been a real friend for Sheila, she didn't really helped her, Sheila liked Brook a lot but Brook was alwayscold towards her and distant.

This is a strange scene indeed, but a funny one nonetheless. Sheila also said to the nanny Judy that she would never dream of harming a child, but years later she threatened to kill baby Thomas. I guess she had somewhat of an on/off relationship with children? :-P
