i can't believe how mean and judge/mental cb comments are ... geeze i hope if i get mine hooked up and i need assistance you don't have a special club only cool ppl get help from.. there i so much doom and gloom in the world lighten up! can't a couple of kids have a little fun... geeze i am getting depressed and all i wanted was to look up how to use a CB .. shtf and we are so screwed with such brutal mean ppl out there i will be better off if i never need to call out for help dammit !

its now fully of older people that think they own the airwaves and there worst then kids, ive a guy that lives half a mile from me and is using a 500 watt burner to talk to his mate 3 miles away..
I can hear the idiot on a 30 plus signal with no antenna connected to my rig.

Guys firstly it's good to see young guys have gone out and purchased cb's. It's a dying item.
CB use should be fun. Ham radio is serious stuff and fair play to users but leave the cb to us amateurs who want a bit of a laugh. There are 40 channels. Enough for us all. And even if they had unknowingly been on a calling channel.... Let's face it there ain't gonna be too many calls. To see the cb being used at all is a rarity.
I don't see a revival ever happening but good to see it hasn't died.

Its ok on ch10,but its idiots who talk all day on ch19 that really spoil it.
19 is the calling channel,so should only be used for that.
If you are on ch10 fine,if others dont like it TUFF SHIT.
