Can you tell me what kind of computer you use ?

my arcade computer is a 2.8 duel core with 2 gigs of ram and a 300 gig hard drive. i use windows xp pro sp3 as my operating system.

the computer in the video is my personnel computer.

How do I start it up? I follow the steps but after I click close, the screen is just black and nothing loads? Can someone help?

I noticed that you are using mame32fx, I am just curious why you use this ver. of MAME instead of others. thanks

hi,

i use this version of mamefx because it works best with my rom set.

you will notice that when you try your rom set with different versions of mame, some games will not be present anymore and some games wont work anymore.

so i go for the happy medium when searching for my mame emulator. most games run great!. and the most working games.

total mame games: 6823

total games working: 5973

only 850 games don't work.

the version of mame that i use is:

mame32fx 0.120 (oct 15 2007)

I know this problem as i had it, thoe i guess you have figured it by now but you need to update your graphic drivers or you are somehoe using wrong ones that are compatible.. get the correct drivers for your card

I dunno Mame++ 0.117 work's lika charm for me.. plus its freaking online gameplay lol!!

thanks for the info. I have been using the standard MAME and have been looking for a better alternative. I would like to get software that is kind of an all in one. I think I will have to check it out.
