I think these authors are off the mark on what they're saying. How I look at what Jung was saying is like this for example, if you are terrified of crossing bridges, and go way out of your way every day to avoid having to cross a bridge (resistance) , you are allowing that fear to go on unchallenged (persistence). The more you go out of your way to avoid crossing bridge the more you're allowing your life to be controlled, and painfully tormented by that which you fear and don't want.

@Faraz70 You're making a joke about it, but whatever you think about so much so that it over shadows other thoughts comes to you. It does not matter all that much whether you say you want it or not. That is how the law of attraction works. It works faster if you are joyful and happy while having the thoughts but The Law of Attraction gives no notice to the desire or lack thereof of something. It only considers the SOMETHING!!!
