Built on the same small-car platform as the Chevrolet Cobalt, the 2006 HHR (Heritage High Roof) joins America's booming market for crossovers of every size and stripe. Consumers are mad for car-based vehicles that blend the styling attributes and utility of SUVs, station wagons, minivans, and pickup trucks, thanks in part to a crossover's higher vantage point for driving and usually available all-wheel-drive system.

  • you obviously don't know a shit about cars...the VW jetta is made in mexico, half of your chevy SUV's are made in mexico...so shut your yap if you'll make comments like that one.

  • Why do people rate reviews like these with 5 Stars?!?!

If I was a potential buyer, I want to know the negatives, and this reviewer (who aught to be ashamed at calling him that) failed to produce a SINGLE ONE!!!

In the 3 hours I had this car (Enterprise rental) I probably drove it for 30 min and following are my complaints:

    1. The brakes have extremely poor modulation. They seem to have plenty stopping power, but

  • Good car .... Better than a dam ford / well anything is better than ford

  • WORST CAR EVER!! I had this car as my rental car for a week after my accident. I'd rather drive a freaking GEO than this POS car.

  • @BestestMoron The rental car is going to be the base model. Also, being a rental, it's probably been abused most of it's life before you drove it. Yes, the car has a plastic covered interior, but it's also about much better equipped for it's class. They did list a negative in that the engine is loud, but also note worthy is that it is quickest in it's class.
