@oktwx101 NAFTA is sort of like the EU in the mid 60's. The EU now is FAR more than a free trade agreement. It's more than a confederation, less than a federation. And the fact is the US is trying to a certain extent make Europe follow its policy's and interests which is, by some Europeans, seen as trying to take control of them. Also NAFTA, if it chose to become more like the EU, wouldn't really rival it in size of population or economy. Not that it really matters.

@itachiitachi1946 We don't want to control the EU, it's absurd and by the way we are not Afraid of the EU. By my understanding the EU is a free trade agreement between European countries, just like the NAFTA here which is more powerful than the EU by the way. We have also rich and powerful countries in North America like the US, Canada, and Mexico forming the NAFTA just like the EU have all those western rich countries like France, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany out of the 27 member of the EU.

As so many EU financial leaders are saying,Lagarde is the right choice to bring smart decisions and solutions at the IMF,focusing on new jobs creation and new options for manufacturing , growth and fair trade under the Rule of Law , here the EU must be united as ONE.

EU must make sure Youth learns+uses new tools like Qt SDK 1.1 that writes once and for multiple mobile phones: Symbian,Linux-Android,Windows,­Apple,Maemo, etc. and with multiple chips :AMD, Intel, nVidia, TI, STMicro, etc., so that big "monopoly makers",Qualcomm-Oracle, don't block growth, progress ,new solutions and new jobs: a new eco-system that creates also breakthroughs in photons + electrons dance-work, wave+current turbine energy, fuel cells w/ solar energy to split hydrogen from water.
