Everyone changes all the time, it's called growing up and getting to know who you really are, what you really want, what you are capable of, where your priorities really are. I'm 24 and if I would still dress, act and dream the way I did when I was 17 or 18, I would probably still be in my old bedroom in my parents' house dreaming. Accomplishing requires going into the real world, in some businesses (like entertainment) that real world is harsh, people change. Boo hoo. Shine on Rih!

let's be real, if she stayed that same lil rih from the island she would be gone from the spotlight by now, ability to constantly switch it up and keep it fresh and still be believable and fun with it is her major strength.she keeps you guessing, and you never know what she's gonna come up with next. marketing genius at its finest.

but at the same time it was just 7 years ago, she moved from her little island, still lil shy, meeting the first celebrity, just pursuing dreams and here she is now, 7yrs, 6albums(!!!), milions of bucks later, one of the biggest pop stars in the world working her butt off non stop and living the LIFE.

This wasn't before success. She was already becoming successful here. I loved the song "If it's lovin' that you want." I liked her more back then. Before the "good girl gone bad," but she still has some good music.
