How To: HuK 20 Food FE - Replay Analysis

A traditional 1 Gate FE is exploitable by Terrans due to delayed Warpgates, from Chronoboosting a single Gateway. However in this variation you get an earlier Nexus, and have the option to delay probes earlier without fear of not being able to replenish our count (you can chrono them out fast and early if you realize you are safe). This opening also gets you earlier WG tech with great Warpgate count, thusly being a more versatile opening.

PS. Is this still as effective now (~ Feb 2012) as it was when you posted in the summer of 2011? Or have terrans figured out how to hard counter it by now?

@Joe22c It's still effective. Once you get into very high on the ladder you need to start laying your Nexus before the Cyber core against a CC first.

Try to remember to get extended thermal lance for your collosi. It helps so much in those battles so your collosi can just sit back and destroy stuff.
