Sun rise to sun set time lapse looking out my window at the Poquonnock River during Tropical Storm Irene on August 28, 2011. Highlights include: the swan family seeking shelter, my dock being blown out of alignment, the neighbor's dock floating past, the other neighbor in his powerboat working to save his dock, neighbors swimming, "Chuckles" the woodchuck coming out to check out the situation, the swan family coming back, Robin and I checking out our dock, and then some blue sky in the distance.
I thought you'd be filming your re-finished Petrel in the storm... Oh, well... may be next time, when Katia hits -;)

Ha, copycat, did the same thing with cyclone Yasi only yours is much more interesting and has music ;o) (only had a bad public cam at the time and most happened at night) Hope everything passed over without causing too much damage. Otherwise: How to build a workshop in stitch and glue...
Nah, seriously, hope all is ok.

You know, I saw on the news the other day, before the storm hit, that it was totaly unorganized and had no discernable eye....such a storm does no dammage and does not last long....climate change IS NO REASON for these hurricanes to acvt the way they have for the passed few years...just ask a meteorologist. No eye-shitty storm. Well defined eye...really big storm. Something fishy is going on...
