Thank you so much for such a lovely revisit of Murree. I attended Murree Christian School housed in the Gharial church from 1979-1988. Every summer we attended Holy Trinity church. This video brought tears to my eyes. Thank you.

Thanks to your beautiful video I now have peace of mind as to where my grandmother is buried. My family lived in Pakistan and India for decades and I was born there but came back to U.K before I was a year old so remember nothing of it. My grandmother died in 1936 and I was told she was buried in Murree at Holy Trinity Church but knew little else about it. Beautiful place and a lovely choice of background music. Thank you.

I've spent some of the greatest months of my life in MURREE :) Everytime I go there I feel spiritually lifted. It is one of the only few places in Pakistan that has retained its original charm <3

Thank you so much for this video. I am researching my families ancestry in British India. My Gt-Uncle went to St Lawrence and I'd love to hear from any of you who have ancestors who went there. Years my relatives were there was c. 1925 - 1940. I have shared this video on Facebook with a group called Families In British India Society (FIBIS), we are all researching our genealogy in India.
I would have loved to see images of St. Lawrence College.
I've always been aware of the fact my grandad is, and was born and grew up in India (but an area that, after the partition became Pakistan). But just the other day learnt that the boarding school I heard about and dreamt about all through my young childhood was in fact St. Lawrence College. If you know where I can find any images please can you let me know.
Thanks :D

@lovesmusic2101 I have pictures of the Lawrence College. Great to know this area was once your grandad's home. Send me your email address in my inbox

Absolutely superb production! Frankly I'm amazed at the quality of this work: this is no amateur, run-of-the-mill job, but a highly polished, skilled production. Excellent choice of background music as well (which one is it --- sounds latin ??)
Bravo! Bravo!

Thanks for your comments. This is a modest labour of love for a place that is very close to my heart. I am grateful for your very encouraging words. It's my 1st attempt to produce a "video" like this. The music is Sarah Brightman's Ave Maria (Latin) I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

you missed out the one I really wanted to see, the one inside Lawrence College. I have lot of childhood memories associated with that place. Very nice slide show.

I did not have any photos or footage of the Lawrence College chapel available to me when I made this slideshow.
Almost all photography is mine, except for the vintage ones which are from my personal collection. Thank you for viewing - AJ
