  • Billy Edd is pure West (by God) Virginia. I love him, his music, poems and plays.

  • This is such a great interview!

What a pity that it ends abruptly!

  • Damn I like his version almost better than any of these covers (or interpretations), even though it's so short and he only has a guitar which he barely even plays lol.

It's the gentlessness of his voice, the tempo, and subtlety ... humblessness. Seems like the other people playing it channel some kind of veiled anger .. hmm dunno.

He should make a longer version and record it :P ! (maybe he already did?)

  • Remember talking to him in Asheville...he was so interesting...what a lovely man!

  • love his funny little song,(ode to the littlr brown shack out back)

  • Oh what a thrill to be able to see one of the greatest songwriters ever, Hope will ger more of Billy Edd! Big hello from Czech rep.
