Custer National Forest and Ekalaka

Custer National Forest is on mountain tops in the southeastern corner of Montana. The gateway to the forest is the town of Ekalaka. I really like Ekalaka, but couldn't get enough footage for an Ekalaka movie (it's small) so I tacked it on here.

My movie posting will become less frequent now. School is starting and my free time is gone!

I prefer the open prairie, but I love visiting the forest. I find cities scary: unpredictable people, too much traffic, and too many people.

@ekalaka1 id like to take a trip out there next spring to hunt a little are there still a bunch of wild turkeys up around that way??? from baker to ekalaka or terry??? please let me know if its worth the trip out there or if u even see any wild turkeys around ekalaka???

I have relatives is Ekalaka and I love the sound of the name. My Dad grew up in near-by Baker.

It's a beautiful town. I enjoy getting down there and really wish it was closer.
