I heard this song in I think 2006 Crawfish festival and was in tears from the back row but man I can remember driving home and calling my friend coz I'd went alone and told her...he's got a hit, something bout rain...slayed me...obviously, for different reasons...songs that connect to people r the ones worth hearing~

Its songs like this that make me say to not tell someone how to deal with their pain. "I've been told I shouldn't stand in your rain." Sometimes reminiscing and thinking about the past is what will help the most. You have to grieve before you can move on.

Thanks, Faye. It is a beautiful song by Gary , as well as "No Regrets". I once read where Angela always wondered when he'd write a song about her, it's just a shame she took her life, and it took that to happen to get these beautiful songs from him.
