  • I wondered what, and how this was made. This one, and the one on the Shodo you made for me are both amazing, Sensei!

  • Please search Internet with a stamp of a handicraft.

This is stamp of white space on a colored background.

    Normal is contrary.

Store of signet make such a tool with 100 dollars from about 50 dollars if you go to a store.

    However, I like a handicraft.

People will understand that it is my stuff soon because it is signet with characteristic.

It is difficult for the person who does not use a Chinese character to decipher general signature and seal.

  • yes haku, mr. houzansuzuki did include his personal signature on his works.

was the stamp made by using a rubber eraser?

  • Yes, rubber.

I do a sketch with pencil on a tracing paper.

Then I copy it on the rubber reversely.

And I carve it with a design cutter.

  • Domo Arigato Gozaimasu Sensei! I make inkan from lime stone, and it is very hard to do. I really like your idea of using rubber, this will make it much easier for me to remake my inkan the way I want it to look, with tensho script.

  • I agree it is difficult. If you remember, can you tell me what your signature on the shodo you made for me says?
