I don't understand German but the song sounds very nice.
Doesn't Norhtern Mexican music like tejano, conjunto, Tex-Mex, quebradita, banda, ranchera, & norteña have German roots to beging with???

GANZ SCHLECHT. Eine wahrlich vertane Chance - wenn in Ludwig Rellstabs Gedicht schon von Nacht und Mond die Rede ist, sollte man diesen Vorgaben optisch doch irgendwie Rechnung tragen, finde ich. Das Hispano-Pärchen ist willkürlich und austauschbar. Daß Hermann Prey und sein Klavierbegleiter (ich tippe mal auf Gerald Moore) nicht genannt werden, ist skandalös. Und einfach nur peinlich ist das falsche Sterbedatum Schuberts (1821 statt 1828).
Schade. Vertane Chance, verschwendete Ressourcen.

Franz Schubert was AUSTRIAN. He was born in Vienna and spend almost his entire life there! Look it up :)
