This video is to show that the shematic posted and youtubed (than retired) by Sem 77 (delamorto) works fine.
Contrary to my previous video, this time it is not plasma, but the bulb is really lit and became very hot, as with " standard " electricity. Of course the bulb is far from beeing fully lit, but it surely consume some watts.
A previous estimation is that the circuit and the blower consume about 1.4 A at 12 volt. When i connect the bulb the whole system consume about 1.85 A at 12 volts. So the bulb itself should consume 0.44 A at 12 volts (5.28 watts).
You can notice that in the original shematic , Sem 77 used a grounding and a variable cap.
I tried to connect a ground (grid ground, see the red wire on the top of the image) to the negative lead, but got no change on my setup.
IThe system light LED bulb but not CFL bulb ???
OK a lot to experiment on this system
Thanks to all contributor, and good luck at all
Laurent
Alluminium also works.

I have also build one and it works fine !
Nice work

Thank you Laurent for sharing your experiment results on this very interesting design!
Things to try out to replicate the original Kacker video:

- Add solid ferrite rod inside the slotted copper tubing.
- Add another copper tube inside the other end of the coil, with solid ferrite rod inside.
- Tied the non-slotted second copper tube to a ring ferrite on the outside.
The caduceus coils looks promising!
Cheers!

Would dissimilar metals make a difference ? I don't know why, but the copper/copper interaction seems like it may be helped if running like a battery instead. Definitely different and well worth exploring..enjoyed the vid :)

thank you for a great demonstration!

Did you try that lamp on your last setup? I had the same experience with just plasma on smaller lamps but as soon as I moved to a lamp where the filament is further away from the glass, like the one you're using here, it glowed and no plasma.

Why do you need the blower ? Does your transistor get too hot otherwise ?
Can you please power the blower with a different power supply and try again ?
What happens, if you put a ferrite rod inside the slitted copper pipe ?
Many thanks. Regards, Stefan.
