So we must cast aside our future fears ...

This is my 100th Video on YouTube.

Audio only, PH plays the VDGG song "The Boat of Millions of Years", from the 'unofficial' live album "Rome Charisma Festival Jan 19, 1973", accompanied by David Jackson. The studio version of this song was originally only released as a 'B' side to the single "Refugees", but has since been released on a couple of compilations, and as a bonus track on the remastered release of "The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other". The sound quality of this live version is not great, but it is a rare live recoding.

I compiled the video montage myself utilising footage mostly downloaded from YouTube (thank you, YouTube), with some of my own added effects, filters, and overlays.

Please leave a comment, and please check out my other videos for more of the same.

  • Congrats on your hundredth video professor! At least it isn't another "Surprised Kitty" video. : ) VDGG is the epitome of Prog. I feel blessed to have found them many years ago. Their music and hammill lyrics opened pathways in my mind only hinted at by the other Prog groups e.g. Crimso, ELP, YES, Genesis, Gentle Giant et.al. You're doing yeoman's work and even though your view counts are low at least you're doing something great and positive. Sapere aude!

  • @godbluffvdgg:

    gratias agimus tibi

  • @godbluffvdgg:

Low view counts could be frustrating when you consider some of the 'viral' videos counts and their subject matter. However, if just one or two hundred people enjoy one of my videos then I am satisfied with the effort it took.

  • Nice job putting together vintage audio and very nicely accompanying visuals. You are an inspiration in this realm of historic music video production!

  • @yoch3:

    Thanks for your kind comments.
