There are whale adoption programs in New England that use the funds to help protect whales.
Adoptions of Colt can be made by Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society North America and Whale Center of New England. A simple Google search of whale adoption programs will give you the URL's.
Most programs cost $30-35 and you get updates through the year via newsletters, a picture of your whale and other things.

We adopted Colt yesterday Sept 15th 2009...we did not get the chance to see Colt but we picked him because we are Indianapolis Colts Fans! We did get to see Coral!!

Colt is my whale! my family adopted him when we were just young kids! he is born the same year as me! this was a fantastic video! glad to hear he is doing well!
