This video describes how to use the effects processors in the Tascam DM-4800/dm-3200 with your DAW. This is useful for mixing as well as using the effects to supply vocalist with reverb while they perform but it is not recorded onto the track itself. Very useful.

  • hello Jay,

Man i purchased the dm 4800. But I am having some major issues just trying to connect it to Logic, and protools. have a digi 003 rack. I do not have the firewire as of yet. But please help me get started. I am a little frustrated right now. But I just cant get it to connect. Thanks. Keith

  • Hey I just got one, and I love it, but I have a question...

I have it working 90% with Logic and Pro Tools but just cant seem to get Timecode going on the meter bridge...

I had it working, but it only registered when it was playing, not when it was off, or rewinding/fastfwd... when i tried to see if I coudl fix that... I lost the timecode display alltogether.. any ideas as to how i can get it back???

    thanks in advance,
