I thought it was a great speech. We sorely need a president with Richardson's experience and vision to lead the country forward, and to restore respect abroad and at home.

There is one problem with Richardson - he lacks charisma. Crowsonguy's opinion shows it. American's can't handle intelligence, subtlety, and complexity. They need someone who can boil it down, make it simple, and convince people that we can better our world. Democrats have failed by not backing candidates like this in the last two elections. They can't do it again or our nation is screwed.

Bill Richardson would make a GREAT president. He is by far the most qualified of the current candidates. He was energy secretary before and has had a great record as a Governor. He would make an excellent President because he has enough experience to get things done.

I like what he has to say, I know he is more experienced than any of the other Democratic candidates, and I know he is a non-stop worker.
I think he would make a good President.

it may seem boring, because it is so correct. It seems simple when he speaks. Because he understands what should happen, how things should be. And when someone tells you that it sometimes comes off as boring. But we need someone how well do what he says.

If this were an election year like 1988 or say, 1996, then perhaps Charisma may hold a dominant factor in determining the leader of our nation. I think Richardson has a unique blend of personability that would lend himself well to the response of "who would you like to have a beer with" in addition to a tremendous resume of varied experience. We Democrats would be foolish to nominate another senator who doesn't crossover and can't win battlegound regions in the general election.
